This is our old home we ahve moved to another house

My name is Jette and I have been married to John for 26 years. We live near "Jammerbugten" between the North Sea and "Limfjorden" which is an inlet. Nature here is very beautiful and we enjoy living here.

We have two daughters, Tanja who is 22 years old. She works as an assistant nurse and she lives close to us on a little farm with horses and a dog. Our daughter Majken is 20 years old and she will soon be a hair dresser. She lives in a flat in Brovst. Our youngest daughter Nicoline is 14 years old and she is still going to school. She lives here in our house.

Our kittens and cats are an impportant part of our daily life. Everybody enloys them and likes playing with them. Our cats are familiar with people, they like being together with us and belonging to our family. They are confident with people and with strangers which is a good thing when the kittens start their new lives in their future homes.

Most kittens are born in our sleeping room and when they start walking around they can go where they like in our house. Breeding Birma cats is our dearest hobby and most of the time I am at home with the cats and the kittens. Some times we go to shows. However, it is important to us that the cat enjoys it as much as we do.

Very soon they are becoming familiar with dogs because Tanja's dog is often here. We think it makes it easy for the kitten if it comes to a new home with a dog.

Our aim is to grow healthy and lovely kittens. We want to breed cats without inbreeding and line breeding through love and respect for the race.

Finally we would like to thank the people who helped us when we started breeding cats. We are very thankful for their help.

Our interest for cats started when we got Futte and Fister who were two castrats. Then we got Jarl. Unfortunately he did not grow very old as he got cancer. However, we started loving the race and we felt that we had to get a fertile female cat who could be tho mother of our future kittens. Then we got Lady Isolde who became the mother of our breeding. Today we some times go to shows because we find it interesting and exciting. Last year we got our male cat Willem in Holland.
